Payment #1 $100 due at signup

Payment #2 $125 due on or before August 15th

About this Project:

The Palmer Home is a Christ-centered organization that provides residential care a family and community to nearly 100 children on two campuses in Columbus and Hernando, Mississippi.  On this trip, you will spend the week serving at the Palmer Home Orphanage where our team will be the hands and feet of God’s compassion.  Our team will have the opportunity to serve through various group projects such as landscaping, small construction projects, cleaning, painting, organized children activities and much more.  Throughout the week there will be many opportunities to personally connect with the children and to share with them the love of Christ. 


Who may come:

Adults ages 18 and older (mature youth considered if room allows). Families are welcome to join.

All team members must be able to fully participate in various group projects.


What are the accommodations:

Our team will stay at the Palmer Home in Columbus, MS. You will share a dorm style room with at least 2 or 3 other

teammates (men in one room and women in the other). Each participant will be provided with a twin size bed. You

must bring your own sleeping bag (or sheet and blanket) and pillow.


What we will eat:

All of your meals are provided at the Palmer Home. Participants will be responsible for their own snacks during the trip and/or meals on travel days.


What should I bring:

You will need to bring all personal hygiene products, sleeping bag or sheet/blanket, pillow, towels, closed toe shoes,

work shorts and t-shirts, clothes to get wet in, work gloves and protective eye wear, sunscreen, and spending money

on travel days.
