Birmingham Dream Center
The Dream Center is an outreach ministry center of Church of the Highlands with locations in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Auburn, Alabama. The mission of the Dream Center is to create opportunities for people to know God personally, find freedom in a transforming relationship with Him, discover their purpose, and use their gifts and abilities to make a difference in the lives of others. The Dream Center partners with neighborhood organizations in urban Birmingham to maximize the impact of bringing the love of Christ to the community and strategically designing ministries that bring the hope of Christ to those in need. The Christ Health Center offers help for physical needs by providing state-of-the-art primary healthcare, dental care, and counseling and pharmacy services with the potential to serve more than 30,000 patients annually.

Who May Come?
Adults ages 18 and older (mature youth allowed with parent or legal guardian). All team members must be able to fully participate in various group projects.
What are the accommodations?
Our team will stay at the Hope Street Christian Ministries in Birmingham. You will share a dorm style room with at least 2 or 3 other teammates (men in one room and women in the other). Each participant will be provided with a twin size bed. You must bring your own sleeping bag (or sheet and blanket) and pillow.
What Will We Eat?
Breakfast and Lunch meals are provided at the Dream Center. Participants will be responsible for paying for their dinner meal. Dinner will be as a team at a local restaurant. Participants will be responsible for their own snacks during the trip and/or meals on travel days.
What Should I Bring?
You will need to bring all personal hygiene products, bedding (sheets/sleeping bag/pillow), towels, washcloths, toiletries, shower shoes, tennis shoes, casual/work clothes (girls please no tank tops, short shorts, midriffs, etc.), church clothes (anything modest goes), bible and notepad and whatever else you usually need. Please DON’T bring weapons or matches or lighters or drugs.
